Rules

Softball is a sport derived from
baseball. The batting side attempts to score runs by making a circuit of
four bases whilst the fielding team tries to dismiss them.
l In softball there are some
differences to baseball. The field of play is smaller, the ball is larger,
the game only lasts seven innings, and the pitching is underarm.
l The fielding team tries to
stop or catch the ball in an attempt to get the hitting team out.
